Agile people! When did you last read the Scrum Guide from start to finish? It’s about 3,500 words. It will probably take you 20 minutes. Yes, Agile is not necessarily Scrum but many teams do use Scrum and many other practices are derived from or inspired by it.
Try reading it again. You will read it in your current context with recent challenges on your mind. The content has not changed but you have, and you may find new insight in it.
I did this recently and different things stood out for me. I was struck by just how important the Scrum Values are, which I’d maybe not put front and center before. Courage, Focus, Commitment, Respect, and Openness really are vital as we try to get people to ‘be’ agile instead of ‘do’ agile.
